McLeod Health welcomes orthopedic surgeon: 3 details

Florence, S.C.-based McLeod Health welcomed orthopedic surgeon Bryan L. Christensen, MD, to McLeod Health Clarendon in Manning, S.C., according to Manninglive.

Here are three details:

1. Dr. Christensen is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons fellow.

2. After earning his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., Dr. Christensen completed a joint residency at Lubbock-based Texas Tech University and William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.

3. Dr. Christensen served in the U.S. Army as an orthopedic surgeon for 11 years. He received several Meritorious Service Medals and the Army Commendation Medal with three oak leaf clusters during his military career.
