Here are five orthopedic surgeons in the news this week.

Port Townsend, Wash.-based Jefferson Healthcare added Edward Eissmann, MD, to its staff.


Thomas Graham, MD, of New York-based Northwell Health, surgically repaired University of Kansas center Udoka Azubuike's torn ligaments in his left wrist.


Pennsylvania-based Pottstown Memorial Medical Center has dedicated its Center for Orthopedics and Spine to Richard P. Whittaker, MD.


Los Angeles Doctors inducted Frederic Nicola, MD, of the Marina Del Rey, Calif.-based DISC Sports & Spine Center, into its Southern California Super Doctors Hall of Fame.


After consulting with James Andrews, MD, Auburn (Ala.) University's quarterback Sean White left during the second quarter of the Sugar Bowl.
