Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center named Craig Della Valle, MD, chief of the division of adult reconstructive service.

Here are five highlights:


1. Dr. Della Valle is a joint reconstruction and replacement surgeon.


2. He is a professor of orthopedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center and serves as secretary for the board of directors for The Hip Society.


3. Additionally, Dr. Della Valle is the education committee chairman for the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.


4. Specializing in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty, Dr. Della Valle has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications.


5. He completed his joint replacement surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center.
