4 things to know about Orthology acquiring Sports and Spinal Physical Therapy

Orthology has recently acquired Sports and Spinal Physical Therapy in Washington, D.C. Orthology's team of medical professionals devise solutions to help patients quickly recovery from back and body injuries, chronic pain and orthopedic surgeries.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. SSPT runs assessments, bike fits, Pilates and trigger point dry needling in addition to physical therapy.

 

2. Orthology Chief Clinical Officer John Sandell, MD, devised a patent-pending, research-based methodology allowing Orthology to quickly resolve injuries, restore function and enhance athletic performance.

 

3. Orthology's acquisition of SSPT is part of the company's plan to expand to the Washington, D.C. area.

 

4. Orthology opened its first location in 2014 and has seven locations in Minnesota. It has additional locations opening in New York City.
