Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Clifford B. Jones of The CORE Institute

Clifford B. Jones, MD, FACS, is an nationally renowned orthopedic trauma surgeon practicing at The CORE Institute's Arizona and Michigan clinics. Dr. Jones specializes in trauma, adult and pediatric fracture care, infection, bone health and osteoporosis, nonunions and spine problems among various others.

Dr. Jones was the recipient of the Achievement Award from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons from 2012 to 2015 for his contributions to education, research and advocacy for orthopedics. Additionally, Dr. Jones was named a Top U.S. Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon in 2012 by Orthopedics This Week.

 

Dr. Jones earned his medical degree from the Indiana University Medical School in Indianapolis. He went on to complete an orthopedic residency at the San Francisco Orthopaedic Residency Program in California. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at the Harborview Medical Center, which is affiliated with the University of Washington.
