Phoenix-based The CORE Institute entered into a partnership with Cancer Treatment Centers of America Phoenix to treat bone and soft tissue cancers as well as tumors affecting the spinal cord, YourValley.net reports.

The CORE Institute's Amalia De Comas, MD, and Andre Hagevik, MD, will treat patients at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, but will continue seeing patients at their respective CORE Institute offices as well.

CTCA Phoenix CEO Rob Gould said the center is proud to offer orthopedic oncology services through the partnership. He added, "Dr. Amalia De Comas and Dr. Andre Hagevik bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from their respective specialties to CTCA that will be invaluable to our patients."
