Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital is on course to finish a 150,000-square-foot expansion that will bolster its spine and orthopedic services, Community Impact reports.

The new building will feature an orthopedic floor and offices for physicians specializing in neurosurgery.

HMCLH ended 2019 with 37 physicians and plans to recruit more to bring the total up to 75 by 2025.

In December, HMCLH broke ground on the building, which is expected to open in May 2021.
