NeuroPoint Alliance adds Mayfield Brain & Spine: 5 highlights

NeuroPoint Alliance welcomed Cincinnati-based Mayfield Brain and Spine to its Quality Outcomes Database Spine program.

Here are five highlights:

1. Currently, more than 100 centers participate in the QOD program, with more than 90,000 patients enrolled in the spine registry.

2. The QOD serves as a nationwide prospective clinical registry for neurosurgical procedures and practice patterns. Its primary purpose is to track quality of care in common neurosurgical procedures.

3. Surgeons and groups can also use the database to access data for analyzing and reporting.

4. NPA hopes adding Mayfield Brain & Spine will help the spine database grow on local and national levels to empower physicians deliver superior care.

5. The QOD Spine program is the largest and most comprehensive spine surgery registry in North America. More than 90 centers are participating within its lumbar spine registry.
