Michael Holte, MD, joined Glenwood, Minn.-based Glacial Ridge Hospital, according to Pope County Tribune.
Here are three notes.
1. Dr. Holte performs hip and knee replacements as well as emergency surgery. He also specializes in sports medicine and orthopedic treatments.
2. Dr. Holte is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Association Orthopedic Surgaeons.
3. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine in Rochester, Minn.
