New Wisconsin clinic to include orthopedic and spine center: 5 things to know

Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee announced its plans to open a new clinic in Mequon, Wis., according to the Journal Sentinel.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The Mequon clinic is scheduled to open in October and will include specialty care in endocrinology, orthopedics and sports medicine, spine care, pain management and physical, occupational and speech therapy.

 

2. This new 92,000 square feet health center will be the third suburban clinic that Froedtert Health and the Medical College have opened since 2013.

 

3. Additionally, the clinic will provide mammography and other imaging services, as well as laboratory services.

 

4. In 2013, Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin opened their New Berlin clinic. The also have plans to open an Oak Creek clinic in 2018.

 

5. Unlike the health center and medical college's New Berlin and Oak Creek locations, the Mequon clinic will not include an ambulatory surgical center.
