Laredo (Texas) Medical Center opened the Laredo Bone and Joint Center on Aug. 31, according to LMTonline.com.
Here are five notes:
1. Laredo Medical Center spent $600,000 on the new center's construction.
2. The new center houses 14 private rooms.
3. Orthopedic surgeons and clinicians and a care coordinator will staff the center.
4. Patients may participate in a preoperative class as well as an after-care support program.
5. Arie Salzman, MD, will serve as the center's medical director.
6. The Laredo Bone and Joint Center is accepting patients.
