Team-based healthcare enhances patient care, according to DiagnosticImaging.

Here are five considerations:

1. Administrators should clearly define everyone's roles, so the practice runs smoothly and meets expectations.

2. Each care team will operate differently, so work with the team to define roles that are most effective.

3. Administrators should encourage every team member to perform at the top of their licenses. This means all team members should be performing to the full degree of their training.

4. To establish a successful practice, every team member must adhere to the same levels of quality and safety.

5. It is also crucial to develop trust among the team. Physicians want to be sure they are working with capable individuals who can hold their weight.
