4 physicians join Beacon Orthopaedics following competitor's merger

Practice Management

Sharonville, Ohio-based Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has recruited four physicians and opened its 14th location in West Chester, Ohio.

Beacon's new physicians are orthopedic surgeons Ronald Hess, DO, Scott True, MD, Brian Rottinghaus, MD, and nonsurgical spine specialist Aarti Singla, MD.

The new arrivals were previously affiliated with Cincinnati-based Wellington Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine, which merged with OrthoCincy Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in January to become the largest orthopedic practice in the region, with 45 physicians.

The four new physicians bring Beacon's total number of physicians to 40. The group has more than 400 employees in Southwest Ohio, Southeast Indiana and Northern Kentucky.

"Welcoming physicians of this caliber is just one way to enhance the three basic tenets at the heart of our practice — quality, access and value," Peter Cha, MD, president of Beacon, said in a Feb. 9 news release.
