Spinal implant manufacturer Omnia Medical recruited two Boston Scientific executives who will help launch a pain management division focusing on sacroiliac joint dysfunction.
Jennifer Martin, former senior director of customer engagement at Boston Scientific, was hired as president of Omnia's new interventional pain therapies division, according to a Dec. 30 news release.
She has more than 15 years' experience in product training and market development, including serving as senior director of field and physician development at St. Jude Medical as well as vice president of global sales training at KCI Medical.
Dan Rogers, a former regional sales director at medical device companies Boston Scientific and Vetiflex, joined Omni as vice president of sales.
The interventional pain therapies division will feature collaboration between spine surgeons and pain management specialists when diagnosing pathology as spine-related or sacroiliac joint dysfunction.
Omnia said its goal is to help pain management specialists integrate sacroiliac joint fusion technologies into their treatment plans.
