Here are six key notes on spine and orthopedic device companies: 

Alphatec Holdings secured a partial victory Aug. 31 in a lawsuit brought by competitor NuVasive, according to court documents.

Spine device manufacturer Aurora Spine posted $1.6 million in second-quarter revenue, representing a decrease of 52 percent from the same period last year.
