Wright Medical is launching a system to aid in hallux valgus correction surgery.
Four insights:
1. The new Ortholoc 2 LapiFuse Triplanar Correction System is designed to increase fusion, reduce recurrence rates and lower the risk of metatarsalgia.
2. The system features a tarsometatarsal joint preparation kit, which is intended to help surgeons quickly and efficiently debride the joint.
3. The Ortholoc 2 LapiFuse system also addresses toe length preservation and facilitates reproducible triplanar correction.
4. It will become commercially available on April 3.
