The FDA provided 510(k) clearance for 4WEB Medical's Cervical Spine Truss System-Stand Alone interbody fusion device.

Three insights:

1. CSTS-SA is designed to enable fixation screws to be positioned through the company's Truss Implant Technology and into the adjacent vertebral bodies.

2. The procedure creates a zero-profile construct that eliminates the need for traditional plate and screw fixation.

3. CSTS-SA features a single-step locking mechanism and aims to enter the market in the fourth quarter.
