The National Capital Consortium for Pediatric Device Innovation named 12 finalists eligible for up to $50,000 in grant funding through its pediatric medical device competition.
The finalists will present their orthopedic and spine innovations April 30 at the "Make Your Medical Device Pitch for Kids!" competition at the University of Maryland in College Park. Their pitches will be judged by a panel including executives from DePuy Synthes, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic and multiple health systems.
Along with up to $50,000 in grant funding, winners will get invited to a pediatric device innovation program led by MedTech Innovator.
