Nexxt Spine received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Saxxony Posterior Cervical Thoracic System.
Here are three things to know:
1. The Saxxony system is designed to stabilize cervical and thoracic spinal segments through posterior screw fixation in patients with degenerative disc disease, deformity, tumor or trauma.
2. The system features standard and smooth shank screws available in several diameter and length combinations, low profile cross connectors that feature multi-axis adjustability and various configurations of offset, parallel and axial connectors.
3. The Saxxony system is designed to link to Nexxt Spine's Inertia Pedicle Screw System with a variety of 3.5 to 5.5 millimeter or 3.5 to 6.5 millimeter rod-to-rod connectors and transition rods.
