Spinal Tech

NuVasive's SpineTRACK Registry has enrolled 10,000 patients from 50-plus surgeons in the U.S.

Here are five highlights.

1. The company created the registry as a quality improvement tool in 2011.

2. SpineTRACK is intended to offer a collaborative data collection platform for hospital systems and spine practices.

3. The registry is designed to track patient outcomes throughout treatment and recovery.

4. Specifically, the registry can help with payer negotiations, patient engagement and outcome analysis.

5. CMS gave the SpineTRACK Registry Qualified Clinical Data Registry designation in February, meaning participants may use the solution to receive Medicare payment incentives.

"Since announcing the Qualified Clinical Data Registry designation earlier this year, we've seen a significant increase in the adoption of SpineTRACK by both private practice physicians and hospital systems," said Matt Link, NuVasive executive vice president, strategy, technology and corporate development. "SpineTRACK is foundational in our efforts to enhance the patient experience throughout the continuum of care with advanced data analytics."
