Spinal Simplicity's Minuteman G3-R receives FDA clearance — 4 takeaways

Overland Park, Kan.-based Spinal Simplicity has received clearance from the FDA to market its newest Minuteman device.

Here are four things to know:


1. The Minuteman G3-R is the newest device in Spinal Simplicity's fusion and fixation-oriented Minuteman line.


2. The device is implanted via a minimally invasive lateral approach and has a lower profile than previous devices.


3. As an alternative to traditional pedicle screws, the plating system device is geared for patients with degenerative disc diseases, spondylolisthesis, various traumas and tumors.


4. Spinal Simplicity develops innovative devices to help treat complex surgical problems.
