NuVasive names Jason Hannon president, COO & Patrick S. Miles vice chairman: 5 key notes

NuVaisve named Jason Hannon president and COO, succeeding Patrick S. Miles who was appointed vice chairman of the company.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. In his new role, Mr. Hannon will lead the company’s global products and services that include product management and development as well as operational duties.

 

2. Mr. Hannon has more than 11 years of experience at NuVasive and served as executive vice president, international, before this promotion.

 

3. He will continue overseeing international operations in his new role

 

4. Mr. Miles will now focus on NuVasive’s strategic planning for the future of spine surgery and support technology development. He will actively support the next-generation spine solution research and development.

 

5. NuVasive reiterated full-year 2016 guidance with this announcement, including a revenue target of $962 million.
