Ivy Sports Medicine acquired by Stryker: 2 things to know

Spinal Tech

Stryker's Endoscopy division recently acquired Ivy Sports Medicine, which includes its minimally invasive meniscal repair platform. Here's what you should know.

1. The acquisition will allow Stryker to supplement its portfolio with a complete meniscal platform. Ivy Sports Medicine had the "only FDA-approved collagen meniscus implant on the market."

2. Stryker said Ivy's portfolio was highly complementary to their current markets.

"Ivy's complete meniscal platform, coupled with their clinical history, will allow us to provide our customers with multiple solutions to address meniscal repair," Vice President and General Manager of Stryker's Sports Medicine business Matt Moreau said.
