SpinalCyte has published its discovery surrounding use of human dermal dibroblasts for regrowth and repair of the intervertebral disc in the Global Spine Journal.

1. Based in Houston, SpinalCyte is a tissue engineering technology company focused on regrowth of the spinal disc nucleus using human dermal fibroblasts.

 

2. The article is titled, "Cell Therapy with Human Dermal Fibroblasts Enhances Intervertebral Disc Repair and Decreases Inflammation in the Rabbit Model."

 

3. Howard S. An, an orthopedic spine surgeon with Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago, led the research team, which also included:
