Medtronic Spine's Medtronic African Descent Network will honor Kenneth Robinson, MD, for his work in the field, according to a Commercial Appeal report.
Dr. Robinson is currently a chief executive of the United Way of Mid-South. He is also a physician and pastor, and served as a public health advisor to Shelby County and Tennessee commissioner of health.
Dr. Robinson is pastor of St. Andrew AME Church in Memphis and has a history of serving as a community leader. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School.
