aap Implantate's LOQTEQ system technology earns European patent

The European Patent Office will soon grant a key patent for the core technology of aap Implantate's LOQTEQ locking and compression plate system.

The European patent will protect the LOQTEQ technology's final development stage. The aap Implantate was granted the corresponding U.S. patent in October 2014 and the company also holds many other international patents for its LOQTEQ technology. The European patent represents an important step towards a global patent protection for the LOQTEQ portfolio, which includes stable-angle compression technology.

 

aap Implantate's products include a full line of plating systems, cannulated screws and bone cement products that are primarily used in orthopedic trauma and spine repair.
