EOS imaging's hipEOS has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

hipEOS is a 3D hip arthroplasty planning software based on EOS' stereo-radiographic 2D/3D imaging. The software enables surgeons to perform pre-surgical planning including hip implant selection and virtual positioning in functional, weight-bearing 3D.

hipEOS received a CE Mark in March 2014 and will be launched in the U.S. in March next year.
