Dr. Frederick Pennings joins AccelSPINE Medical Advisory Board

Frederick A. Pennings, MD, joined the AccelSPINE Medical Advisory Board.

He developed a patent-pending minimally invasive spine procedure and helped guide the United States-based medical device company plans to launch new minimally invasive spine surgery devices.

 

Dr. Pennings is an assistant professor in the department of neurosurgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and director of the minimally invasive spine program at UMass Memorial Medical Center. He completed a combined residency-PhD program at the department of neurological surgery of the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

 

He completed a fellowship in spine surgery at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
