Blue Belt Technologies' Navio system used for 500th partial knee replacement procedure

Blue Belt Technologies announced that Jose Bossolo, MD, performed the 500th Navio assisted partial knee replacement surgery, worldwide, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas, according to a Health Point Capital report.

The Navio system is an open architecture solution allowing surgeons to use an array of different implant systems.

 

"At the Valley Baptist Medical Center, we specialize in using advanced technology to offer a unique array of procedures,” said Dr. Bossolo. “The Navio technology is excellent, it allows me to deliver very consistent, very precise results that I tailor to each of my patients."
