Osseon Therapeutics, DePuy Spine Form a Distribution Agreement

Spinal Tech

Osseon Therapeutics entered into a distribution agreement with DePuy Spine for the distribution of the Osseoflex steerable spine augmentation needle in the United States market, according to an Osseon news release.

The technology is used in conjunction with minimally invasive treatment for vertebral compression fractures. Osseoflex is a physician-controlled VCF needle that provides navigation within the vertebral body. The technology pinpoints treatment for spinal disease.

The Osseoflex needle is used to create voids in the bone for the cement deposits within the vertebral body. The voids can be filled with the CONFIDENCE SPINAL CEMENT SYSTEM by DePuy, using the Osseoflex needle as a conduit directly onto the pathological sites.

Under the agreement, DePuy has distribution rights to sell Osseoflex alongside the CONFIDENCE SPINAL CEMENT SYSTEM through their sales network.
