DePuy Synthes Files Suit, Alleges Globus Medical Violated Contracts With Sales Reps

Spinal Tech

DePuy Synthes has filed a lawsuit against Globus Medical, accusing three former DePuy sales representatives of breaking contract agreements by working for Globus, according to a Mass Device report. DePuy and Globus are competitors in the medical device manufacturing sector. DePuy is alleging that Texas reps were hired by Globus even though the company knew the employees were subject to confidentiality and non-compete clauses with DePuy.

In June, DePuy won a $16 million patent infringement ruling against its competitor.
