Alexios Apazidis, MD, performed a discectomy and fusion with SpineFrontier's A-CIFT SoloFuse.

Here are five key points:

 

1. Dr. Apazidis performed the C3-4 anterior cervical discectomy and fusion at New York City-based Fifth Avenue Surgery Center in August.

 

2. Dr. Apazidis performed Fifth Avenue Surgery Center's first procedure with SpineFrontier technology.

 

3. A-CIFT SoloFuse is a less exposure surgery technology, allowing an implantation with limited tissue disruption.

 

4. He is affiliated with various New York hospitals, including Mineola-based NYU Winthrop Hospital and East Meadow-based Nassau University Medical Center.

 

5. He completed his fellowship at NYU's Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City.
