3 MIS spine devices making the headlines

Here are three minimally invasive spine surgery devices making a splash in the industry.

Health Care Service Corp.'s Blue Cross Blue Shield divisions in Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas now cover SI-BONE's iFuse Implant System.


Santiago Cerneaz, MD, and Guillermo Segvic, MD, performed the first minimally invasive spine surgery using Aurora Spine's ZIP ULTRA at Clinique Hospital San Miguel Arcangel in Argentina.


C.J. Kleck, MD, is the first surgeon to complete a minimally invasive spine surgery using Medicrea's patient-specific UNiD MIS Rod at the Aurora-based University of Colorado Hospital.
