Northern Westchester (N.Y.) Hospital opened its new Surgical Services Suite.
Here are three points:
1. The suite includes six operating rooms, a 14-bay pre- and post-anesthesia care unit as well as a central sterile processing and supply facility.
2. Each operating room is about 655 square feet.
3. This is the first part of a two-phase surgical services modernization plan.
"I know that my patients will receive the highest quality patient-centered care here," said Marshal Peris, MD, director of spine surgery. "The new surgical suite takes already great care to an exciting new level of sophistication.
