Here are 12 hospitals with recently expanded spine and neurosurgery programs.

Columbus, Ohio-based Mount Carmel Health System acquired Central Ohio Neurological Surgeons in Westerville, Ohio.

 

Englewood, Colo.-based Craig Hospital raised $73 million in capital to expand and help patients pay for spinal cord and brain injury care.

 

The Medical Center of Plano (Texas) opened its new brain and spine hospital to patients.

 

Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan Health System implemented BrightMatter new neurosurgical imaging equipment.

 

Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center was the first hospital in the state to offer patients Mazor Robotics Renaissance Spine Surgery.

 

MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., continued to expand its neurosurgery team.

 

Danbury (Conn.) Hospital improved its joint and spine center, Center for Advanced Orthopedic and Spine Care.

 

Cleveland-based University Hospitals unveiled its Avon (Ohio) Rehabilitation Hospital, which includes spine injury services.

 

Atlanta-Based Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital opened the Orthopaedic & Spine Pavilion.

 

Beavercreek, Ohio-based Soin Medical Center opened its expanded quarters, including a spine area.

 

Mercy Northwest Arkansas in Rogers opened the Mercy Spine Center.

 

Capital Medical Center in Olympia, Wash., was the first in the state to offer spine surgery procedures with Mazor Robotics Renaissance Guidance System.
