Jeffrey Carlson, MD, is the first surgeon in Virginia to complete an L4-L5 Fusion using SpineFrontier's Less Exposure Surgery technology — LES REmind pedicle screws.
Dr. Carlson, a managing partner of the Orthopaedic and Spine Center in Newport News, Va., successfully performed the surgery on a 45-year-old patient using the technology. He is also the chief of surgery at Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News.
