Dr. Victor Hsu Uses Newly FDA-Approved PASS MIS System

Victor Hsu, MD, is the first surgeon to use the recently FDA approved, PASS MIS System from MEDICREA, a manufacturer of orthopedic implants, according to a company news release. The PASS MIS system is designed for multi-level surgeries through a percutaneous approach. During the procedure, the surgeon performs the screw and rod fixation first and kyphoplasty reduction second.

Dr. Hsu is an orthopedic surgeon with Abington Health's Orthopaedic and Spine Institute in Abington, Pa. He graduated with a medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Hsu completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Temple University Hospital. He also completed fellowship training at the San Diego Center for Spinal Disorders in La Jolla, California.
