Titan Spine's Implant Sales Beat the Market Thus Far in 2011

Titan Spine, a Mequon, Wis.-based spine device company, has reported a 70 percent increase in sales revenues in the first half of 2011 over the first half of last year, according to a company news release. The first half net income also increased by 135 percent over the same period last year, and the number of surgeons using Titan Spine implants increased by 60 percent. Vice President of Sales Steve Cichy attributed the company's success to the increased demand for interbody fusion devices.

The surface of Titan Spine implants are designed to stimulate localized BMP production though the natural healing process.
