Bacterin has been awarded a grant for $192,484 from the Montana Board of Research and Commercialization Technology to help fund the development and commercialization of a novel regenerative medicine technology.

Bacterin's research, supported in part by the grant, aims to provide biologic products for soft tissue and wound repair in wounded military personnel and civilians. Mark Schallenberger, MS, is the principal investigator for the research project.

"We are extremely grateful for the financial support from the state of Montana. This funding will support our development initiatives within the field of regenerative medicine," said Bacterin's CEO Dan Goldberger.
