Fresno, Calif.-based Sierra Pacific Orthopedics has added new practice member Anirudh Sharma, MD, a family medicine and orthopedic trauma specialist, to its team.
Dr. Sharma will assist Sierra with the opening of its second orthopedic urgent care site, which is set to open on Jan. 15, according to a Jan. 8 press release sent to Becker's.
Dr. Sharma previously served as the curriculum lead and course director of point-of-care ultrasound and urgent care training for the UCSF Fresno family medicine residency training program.
The urgent care facility will offer broken bone care, sports injury care and sprain care.
