Four things to know:

1. The companies will co-market their combined portfolios and develop SeaSpine-specific tools for 7D Surgical's MvIGS system.

2. MvIGS is designed to replace standard fluoroscopy and offers surgeons a radiation-free tool to place spinal implants.

3. More than 1,500 clinical cases have been completed with MvIGS.

4. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
