Orthofix launches JuniOrtho to serve pediatric patients — 4 things to know

Orthofix International launched JuniOrtho to improve care for pediatric orthopedic and congenital deformity patients.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The brand helps families make informed decisions regarding children's surgery.

 

2. Apps, websites, games, comic books, coloring sheets and literature aims to increase kids' comfort with orthopedic procedures.

 

3. Orthofix has marketed over 35 devices to help adults and children suffering from deformities and trauma to bones of the extremities.

 

4. JuniOrtho will be unveiled at the EPOSNA annual meeting in Barcelona on May 3.

 

Orthofix President of the Extremity Fixation strategic business unit Davide Bianchi said, "This launch represents much more than our products; it's also a commitment to be a resource for surgeons and the parents and caregivers of pediatric patients before, during and after surgery."
