Implanet, a Bordeaux, France-based medical technology company specializing in vertebral and knee surgery implants, announced its 2015 annual results.

1. Implanet's spine activity saw growth in 2015, due to pediatric scoliosis market share gains and an increased use of the JAZZ platform for degenerative spinal disorders.

 

2. The company's spine revenue increased 45 percent in 2015 to about €2.8 million.

 

3. The company's spine sector composed 42 percent of Implanet's total sales in 2015, compared to 27 percent in 2014.

 

4. Implanet spent €1.5 million to expand its reach in the U.S. market. It also boosted its distribution of JAZZ in Europe and Latin America.

 

5. The company experienced an operating loss of €7.6 million and a net loss of €8 million.

 

6. In 2015, the company had cash and financial investments totaling €7.1 million.

 

7. Implanet will focus on clinical and operational strategies in 2016.
