At the 19th Annual Ambulatory Surgery Centers Conference in Chicago, Steven Arnold, MD, CMO of Access MediQuip, will give a presentation titled "Health Insurance Plans Are Taking Notice in Fraud and Abuse of Surgical Implants — What They Are Figuring Out and How to Prevent It." The presentation will go in-depth about potential fraud and abuse risks with surgical implants and how providers can avoid it. Dr. Arnold joined Access MediQuip in January 2012 to direct clinical programs and develop medical management policies and procedures. He has more than 20 years of experience and has been the CMO for Virginia Premier Health Plan. He continues to serve on the boards for the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and the NY State Senate Committee for Preventative Healthcare Grants.
