Here are five highlights:
1. Board certified in sports medicine, Dr. Shah will see patients at FHPH’s location in Brandon.
2. He specializes in sports injury prevention and treatment, concussion diagnosis and treatment, bracing, musculoskeletal/orthopedic care, osteoarthritis management, splints, casting, sports physicals and fracture care.
3. Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Cupecoy, St. Marten.
4. Following medical school, he underwent his family medicine internship and residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C.
5. Dr. Shah completed his sports medicine fellowship at Las Vegas-based University of Nevada School of Medicine.
