New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery will use Abridge, an artificial intelligence company for orthopedic documentation, according to a July 24 news release.
Abridge’s AI can detect care setting, specialty and language to create clinical documentation in real time.
“At HSS, Ambient AI is transforming the patient experience by quietly capturing clinical conversations in real time—freeing doctors from screens and paperwork so they can focus entirely on care,” Answorth Allen, MD, associate surgeon-in-chief at HSS, said in the release. “It’s a behind-the-scenes innovation that’s making healthcare more human.”
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
