1. Dr. Andrews will repair the torn ACL in Mr. Lewis’ left knee.
2. Mr. Lewis tore his ACL on Nov. 8 in a game against the Redskins.
3. Dr. Andrews co-founded the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Ala., and the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
4. He consults for the Washington Redskins and serves as the orthopedic medical director for the Tampa Bay Rays.
5. He has previously served as the president of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
