Bothwell Regional, University of Missouri Health partner with orthopedic surgeons: 4 points

Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Mo., and University of Missouri Health in Columbia entered into a partnership with two local orthopedic surgeons to expand care options, according to a Sedalia Democrat report.

Here are four points:

 

1. The organizations are partnering with Douglas W. Kiburz, MD, and Ryan Kelly Edwards, MD.

 

2. The physicians are changing the name of their practice from West Central Missouri Orthopaedic Surgical Services to Bothwell Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.

 

3. Under the partnership, Drs. Kiburz and Edwards are employed by the department of orthopedic surgery at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, part of the MU Health system.

 

4. Drs. Kiburz and Edwards focus on joint replacement, trauma and sports medicine.
