Bradenton, Fla.-based Coastal Orthopedics reached its 1,000th robot-assisted knee replacement since adding Stryker's Mako robot in 2021. 

Jupiter (Fla.) Medical Center added its third orthopedic robot — a Cori system for total joint replacements, the hospital said Oct. 14.

Orthopedic surgeon Prashant Deshmane, MD, has performed Utica, N.Y.-based Wynn Hospital's first robotic hip procedure using Stryker's Mako SmartRobotics technology, according to a Sept. 20 report from the Daily Sentinel.
