Stryker reports 11.2% revenue increase in Q2

Stryker on Aug. 3 posted $5 billion in net sales during the second quarter, an 11.2 percent increase year-over-year.

Five things to know:

1. MedSurg and neurotechnology revenue grew 12.2 percent year-over-year with $2.9 billion.

2. Orthopedic and spine sales grew 9.9 percent year-over-year with $2.1 billion.

3. Second quarter hip sales grew 8.1 percent year-over-year with $393 million, and knee sales of $562 million represent a 12.5 percent jump. Trauma and extremity revenue was $766 million, a 13.6 percent increase from the same time last year.

4. Spine sales were $296 million in the second quarter, a 1.8 percent increase year-over-year.

5. Halfway through the year, Stryker saw $6.2 billion in net sales. That’s up from $5.5 billion during the same period in 2022.
